Turn historical learning into stories children want to discover.
What began as a bedtime tradition became an interactive journey through history.
When my son was between three and four years old, he never fell asleep without a story. One evening, I began telling him about history. He became fascinated, and soon he was asking for a new historical story every night.
I read textbooks and historical materials to answer his questions, but the stories always had to be adapted into simple, vivid adventures that a young child could understand and enjoy. The resources I found were either too complicated or simply not engaging enough for him.
At the same time, I was taking an iOS development course and searching for a meaningful idea for an application of my own. Those bedtime stories gave me the answer.
I imagined a place where children could discover history through beautifully illustrated stories, explore ancient and modern maps, test what they had learned through quizzes, and continue the adventure through puzzles.
That is how EbookHistory was born — from a mother’s wish to make history exciting and understandable for her child, and from the belief that other parents and children could benefit from it too.
